Is Dominican Magic Really Magic? Review

Welp, I was skeptical when it came to all of the talk about Dominican Magic hair products. Over the past few years I would hear women talk about this deep conditioner as if it contained some type of mystical ingredient that could magically soften and grow hair. Any time I hear such claims I take it with a grain of salt because that’s the nature of the business. Since I’m testing products and methods to grow my hair longer I decided to give it a try.

I ordered Dominican Magic Deep Fortifying Conditioner last week, and course I ordered it off of Amazon. Even though it was kinda out of my price range (as far as deep conditioners go), I decided it may be worth the money especially if there’s magic involved.

On To The Review

Like I said, I ordered it last week and then had to wait a whole 5 days for my scheduled wash day ( I’m on a strict regimen) so during that time I watched several video and blog reviews about this deep conditioner. I couldn’t find one person that had something bad to say about it.

When wash day came around I was not ready. I really wanted to sit under the Pebco and use this deep conditioner with heat to get the full affects but I didn’t have the time. Instead, I used a plastic cap and did a few chores. In total, It was around 20-30 minutes of deep conditioning time. Oh and the application was really nice going on.

Now here’s where I felt the magic

When I went to rinse out my hair, chile…… when I say my hair was like silk and butter at the same time, I just can’t describe how good my hair felt. NEVER, in my life have I EVER used a deep conditioner that made my hair feel so good! Even after doing my blow out, my hair was still soft!

Dominican Magic Ingredients

This is not a curly girl friendly product! There’s cones within the ingredients but since I’m not on a curly girl regimen it’s all good!

Water (aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Coconut (Cocos Nucifera) Oil, Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Acetamide MEA, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hyaluronic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Linolenic Acid, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Sorbitol, Fragrance (Parfum), Polysorbate 80, Glycerin, Citric Acid,Lactic Acid, L-Ascorbic Acid, Didecyldimonium Chloride.

After trying what seems to be 100’s of deep conditioners, so far this one is the best. I’m definitely keeping Dominican Magic as apart of my staple products. This large 32oz container should last me a couple of months so I’ll be back to do a “empty bottle review” in the near future.
